2015 Trend Review

THE SHAWL: Shawl lapels will always be popular for formal tuxedo's- they're timeless, elegant, and always formal. Photo credit: Odalys Mendez Photography
THE BOLD JACKET: Dinner jackets made a big splash this year with interesting patterns, textures, and contrasting lapel trims. Always paired with a solid pant, bolder patterns can be a fun surprise for a second look, or go with a color to play the theme and stand out from your groomsmen. Photo credit: Scabal
THE BLUE TUX: 2015 was all about blue! While in year's past we saw the midnight blue tuxedo with black lapel come into popularity, in 2015 things got a little brighter and bolder like the one below! Photo credit: Inije Photography
TONAL GRAYS: A growing theme over the past few years have been to really distinguish groom from his attendants in an obvious way such as the tonal gray below.
CONTRAST LAPEL: Light colored dinner jackets varying from whites to gold tones with black lapels were big for 2015. Photo credit: Milanes Photography
BURGUNDY: Glamorous, masculine, daring. We love it. Photo credit: Milanes Photography
THE VEST: Form & function all the way. For those laid back events, we saw a lot of requests for groomsmen to rock a vest rather than jacket.
THE PLAID SUIT: Patterns played not only in formal, but suiting as well. This Glenn Plaid served as the perfect interesting neutral. Photo credit: Rustic White Photography
